ARTIST STATEMENT

I make stuff. Sometimes it turns into art. This time I have focused on abstracting / sorting everyday objects, which I myself find interesting. An interest in the magic of everyday leads to sorting and compiling, in an effort to see more clearly. Anything that captures my interest can be used. A twisting and turning takes place, a combining and examining: did it turn out more or less interesting? I like things that leave open traces of thought. Things that feel like scattered, occasional clues, where you have to fill in the blanks yourself, weaving your own stories.
